JOSH WOODS

DISTRICT 2 COORDINATOR

JANIE PHILLIPS

DISTRICT 2 ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

The District 2-0 Community Traffic Safety Project (CTSP) is a federally funded grant program through the PA Department of Transportation with the County of Centre and the Highway Safety Network. The project goal is to raise public awareness about highway safety issues in the PennDOT District 2-0 counties of Cameron, Centre, Clearfield, Clinton, Elk, McKean, Mifflin, Juniata, and Potter through education, targeted enforcement campaigns and judicial support.

Community Traffic Safety Projects share three major areas of concern or Safety Focus Areas: Aggressive Driving, Unbelted Occupants, and Alcohol Related Fatalities. Other common topics include distracted driving, heavy trucks, older drivers, and younger drivers.

As your CTSP Coordinator, I serve as a point of contact and an advocate within your community. I am here to provide support to reduce the number of traffic related crashes, injuries, and deaths. I am available to assist with technical and program development, training, coordination of media contacts, and the acquisition of materials and equipment. Any of these issues can be focused directly on your community’s traffic safety needs.
