The District 3 Community Traffic Safety Project Coordinator visited with patrons at the Berwick Senior Center at the end of January to discuss Winter Safe Driving. Topics discussed in this presentation included preparing your vehicle for winter driving, vehicle emergency kits, what to do if you’re stranded in the snow, seat belt safety, and impaired driving. Center patrons had the opportunity to ask questions and share stories about their own personal experiences driving. After the program patrons had the opportunity to discuss what topics they would like to hear more about in our programs and what their thoughts were on participating in a Question and Answer quiz game for traffic safety.
